Get your picture with Raggedy Ann and Andy! Our Bronze Raggedy Ann and Andy sculpture is larger than life and perfect for selfies!
The sculpture was created by Jerry McKenna, an American sculptor, notable for his bronze sculptures of military leaders, religious figures and sports stars.
After fundraising efforts, a committee was able to secure $65,000 from 60 different donors to fund the project. The sculputure was unveiled in 2016.
As you stroll downtown check out all of Amazing Arcola's outdoor Art! 15 large murals are scattered throughout downtown.
In season, our Sweeping Beauties are a must see! 14 over-sized fiberglass whimsical brooms were designed by artist from around the world!
Then be sure to stroll & shop our unique downtown stores. There you will find locally made furniture, jams and jellies, home décor, and much more.
Located in the original Rockome Gardens, Aikman Wildlife Adventure is less than 6 miles west from Interstate 57 , at the Arcola exit 203.
This is a wildlife drive-through park where you can get up close and personal with animals you’ve only seen behind fencing at a zoo or on television. You’ll have the opportunity to see and take pictures of animals right out of your vehicle while you drive the 1-mile long path through our Drive-thru.
Once you have driven through the Drive-thru, you can experience our Walk-thru Adventure, where you’ll see kangaroos, hyenas, wolf-hybrids, lemurs and much more including our large Petting Zoo area.
